A Super Engagement

Christy and Farmer met me in Downtown Romeo to take their engagement photos last month. We started by taking a stroll down a little alley in Romeo shared by a couple small businesses. Shortly after, we stepped into Main’s Treat Coffeehouse to grab some drinks before heading off to take more photos. This gave us a good breather, a moment of getting to know each other more and a chance to talk about their wedding set for next month. I am very excited to be their wedding photographer as they are the fun-loving, easy to joke around and talk with, you can’t help but crack a smile or laugh when you’re around them kind of couple.

After our coffees, we took a walk down to my favorite property in Romeo. Behind a Main Street building of the perfect shade of yellow, is a barn. A beautiful, big, vintage styled, antique barn. It’s a hidden treasure for the best photos (especially because nobody is around to stare at you, even though it is a busy town lol)

The sass, I love it. It’s like he’s looking at Christy thinking ‘what in the heck is this around my neck?!’ haha! He was the best little trooper for never being on a leash before this. After, we danced into our last set of photos as twilight hour was approaching…

I like to include the blurry shots, sometimes. It gives an aesthetic feeling of the in-between moments we shared at this session. In this case, Christy was pulling along Farmer in a casual walk to the camera. I love that look! It was a fun moment.

But wait for it!…. They surprised me with one last outfit change. & IT. WAS. THE. BOMBBBB.

I love Marvel! Captain America and Captain Marvel, saving the world and saving the date! haha, cannot top it! Thank you Christy & Farmer, I cannot wait to photograph your wedding!
