I know it crosses every single person’s mind, “What if it rains on my outdoor ceremony and wedding?” Well, I say, it happens! And, it’s a beautiful thing.
I like to read a quote to my couples on their wedding day when that happens, and it goes “As you know, a knot that becomes wet is extremely hard to untie - therefore, when you ‘tie the knot’ on a rainy day, your marriage is supposedly just as hard to unravel!” This belief is practiced mostly through Hindu tradition. Everything happens for a reason because as soon as the ceremony was done, it cleared up and the sunshine came out! Just in time for photos. Think of this, Holly & Dave, as a wedding day gift from Mother Nature. Because even though it rained, there was something so special about it.
I love Greystone Golf Club & Banquet Center, every time I hear that’s the venue my clients choose for their wedding I do a little happy dance. Amanda, the wedding coordinator, is always on top of everything and causes so much ease to everyone’s day. Also… the food is SO GOOD!
